What inspired you to become a nurse?
“I was inspired to pursue a career in nursing due to my background, I came from Cameroon. And where I came from, there’s really no health care. So pursuing a career in health care as a nurse was something that to me is getting knowledge that will help bring back to help my community.”
What’s the most rewarding part about working in a hospital?
“The most rewarding thing about my career is looking at people coming in sick and leaving after being feeling better. That’s rewarding.”
Do you have any career advice?
“The advice I would give anybody pursuing a career in health care is choose nursing—because I think nursing is like a door to many opportunities in the health care field.”
