Meet Erin: A Registered Nurse at the University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) Shock Trauma Center
Erin is a registered nurse at the UMMC R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.
She is passionate about her work in health care and is always eager to share her experiences with others. Erin believes working in the medical field is rewarding and encourages Marylanders to join her.
Making a Positive Impact
Working as a nurse requires patience, empathy, and a strong desire to help others. Erin knows it can be a challenging job—especially in the emergency department—but she also knows that it is incredibly fulfilling. Every day, she has the opportunity to make a positive impact on someone’s life, and that is something that she takes great pride in.
Erin also loves how her career is respectful, honorable, and incredibly impactful.
She works with a team of dedicated professionals who are all committed to providing the best possible care for their patients. They work hard, but they also support each other and celebrate their successes together. Erin says it’s one of the things that makes her job so rewarding.
