Celebrating her 19 years as a patient care technician/CNA, Juliet says, “Way back in Jamaica years ago, by taking care of my mom, I decided I wanted to be a nurse.”
In the labor & delivery unit, Juliet says “It’s a lot of running around but when you’re finished, it’s well worth it.”

My most memorable experience was when we had a patient come to our forensic department and she didn’t speak any English. I was able to assist her physically and interpret her through her entire stay. This was important because I was able to deliver understanding and comfort during a time where it can be challenging and confusing.
