Linda is a certified nursing assistant (CNA) and & qualified bilingual interpreter in the forensic department at Adventist HealthCare Shady Grove Medical Center. She has worked in health care for ten years and really enjoys helping others.

How long have you been in health care?
Linda says, “I’ve been in health care for ten years and I really enjoy working by helping others.”
What’s your most memorable experience?
“My most memorable experience was when we had a patient come to our forensic department and she didn’t speak any English. I was able to assist her physically and interpret her throughout her entire stay. This was important because I was able to deliver understanding and comfort during a time when it can be challenging and confusing. This also made me realize I made an impact within our medical service staff and someone’s life in better understanding their pre-and-post care.
I really enjoy working with Adventist HealthCare because they support our language services and department that helps our community.”
